Useless

If I am expected to pay $10 + per month for a service I would expect to get to use it. However I cannot because every time I try to look up a phone number I get a generic application error.

You but premium. Then it just sends you to Spokeo to buy the report. Makes no sense to me.

For a few months now, there’s an error that won’t let me use the app It appears as, “Generic Error” Please fix it.

Although not always informative, this App does help for many numbers.

I love this app

I’ve had this app for many years but now it seems like every number I check, at least 90% of them show Not Found. Now, I’m starting to believe I’m just throwing my $ away. Pat

Doesn't push for you to purchase a full report all the time. Easy to use , by far the best and easiest to use , wish they were google app friendly, to me there so much better I use my old iPhone tethered to my google phone. I’m sure there’s a better way . Still a 6 star for me

All it told me is it couldn't find the number that was texting me after me having to spend money on it so I'm unimpressed. On top of this, they don't let you easily cancel your account. I have at least canceled the subscription on the second day of owning it but it now won't let me cancel the account and I'm wondering when it's going to let me do that because I don't want them keeping my email address. They feature a bunch of links to other people's services and are instead of their own service. They provided no information about the spammer and then just had tools that I already know how to do without them.

Great place to help with identifying numbers whether they be spam, real etc.

I never get a call ID. I’ve used this app for years. I’m in the process of deleting it when I find another free app.

The app has been helpful in identifying people who have called my phone. About 80% successful

App is quick/easy - helpful to determine unknown numbers!

generic application errors all the time have to close out. And reopen. out reopend rarely does it. It not do this to me I have no idea? It’s up to da te but still does that.

Mostly it IDs the #s but it does give rewards.

Serves the purpose and for being a free ad-supported app, it’s pretty reliable!

If it is a legitimate business or house phone it identifies almost 100% of the time. It really comes down to what type of numbers you are trying to identify. So many scammers use randomizers and the numbers change every time so those only work to ID about half of the time. It’s easy to add info so it will get better with time as more numbers are identified. This is a great resource.

The most consistent free phone lookup app, and I have tried them all. If they don’t have the info you’re looking for, most likely no apps do. I’ve been using it for years.

I use two different apps to verify information and I can honestly say that this app doesn’t stand up to the other one I use. I can put the same # in both apps and my chances of getting the contacts name is slim with this app

The majority of Caller ID searches are outdated. (e.g., my name is listed under an old number. Same with friends and family.) Not my #1 go-to caller id app.

My husband has cheated on me since before we were married. Over 26 years. My reason to spy On whom he chats with or have pictures of is to show him more proof. If this isn’t that type of app it would help me make him admit it, please let me know

Another Update - 12/11/23 - Even less information now. Haven’t been given a location in over a month. I’ll be deleting this app…Update. I’m getting less information. Most calls have no information and no location now. Old review- My only gripe is when you look at the location. There’s no indication if it’s the cell tower location or the person who’s callings location. Update - 7/1/24 Getting worse. 1- Less and less info again 2- I was unable to write a description of the scam text I received. When I went to finish and send a notice popped up stating unable to send only receives Latin text? I tried shortening the description same popped up. When I erased it completely and only stated it was a scam text it went through. Same thing happened with another number…The whole point of this app is/was to protect the consumer NOT PROTECT THE SCAMMERS.

Helpful and usually gives info

I’ve been using this app for about a year, along with the spydialer website to check for the source of unknown numbers that call me. I’m on the National do not call list, but I still get calls from businesses and political organizations that I don’t want. I also check on Scam invitations that I get on ‎WhatsApp that have United States numbers attached. I usually copy and paste my reports to both spydialer.com and CallerSmart.
